Summary:

This position is full time 8:00 4:30 and responsible for assisting customers on the phone, in person and online, entering 90% of customer orders that are received on a daily basis, and supporting the Office Manager and Sales Department.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for accurately entering customer orders into software.
  2. Greet visitors who enter the building and sign for packages.
  3. Answer incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  4. Act as contact for customers by being a point person and liaison to research and resolve issues.
  5. Create credit memos from information received from Customer Service or Sales.
  6. Print and mail invoices to select customers.
  7. Responsible for cancelling backorders.
  8. Sort and distribute incoming mail.
  9. Prepare outgoing mail.
  10. Daily scanning of processed orders and shipments.
  11. Printing and mailing monthly statements.
  12. Daily shipping confirmations.
  13. Creating Proforma Invoices and sending to customers for approval.
  14. Assist Accounting with weekly mailings.
  15. Participate as needed with special projects.
  16. Other administrative duties as needed

 

Education and Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

2+ years of administrative support experience

Computer literacy, specifically Microsoft
