Job Purpose: Strategic development and implementation of overall ecommerce sales and customer development strategies for DTC platform.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: This is a professional ecommerce marketing manager position (Percentages = priority and approximate time focus)
Direct day-to-day ecommerce business to drive sales growth and profit (40%)
- Achieve sales targets, oversee key performance indicators (e.g., traffic, conversion, AOV) optimizing P&L/budget, as well as monitoring and providing tracking reports
- Manage outside partners and agencies that support key ecommerce strategies, such as reviews, unauthorized seller monitoring, and digital advertising
- Analyze site metrics and develop tests to improve conversion rates, owning the site conversion funnel and improving on AOV and other performance metrics
- Partner with other team members to ensure pricing is optimized.
- Develop campaign planning tools that track online KPIs and the success of marketing events
- Manage online SKU portfolio, including site images, videos, and content, maximizing SEO on website platform
- Work with internal creative teams on digital ad A/B testing, measuring results and improving future campaigns
- Understand brand target audiences and use profiles to drive sales with like consumers
Define long and short-term ecommerce strategy, managing implementation & road maps to meet key business objectives (35%)
- Ensure long-term and sustainable growth by applying data driven decisions that deliver foundational excellence, innovative thought leadership, and scalable process in an often-ambiguous environment
- Drive YOY growth through consumer acquisition and retention strategies, mapping and delivering key messages throughout the customer journey
- Manage ecommerce syndicated data and utilize key findings to drive business growth
Own the customer experience, having a clear understanding of what drives e-commerce sales and a passion for user experience to improve the onsite shopping experience (20%)
- Work with external resources on technical aspects of the site, including maximizing SEO.
- Drive site experience with consistent messaging across website platforms
Perform other work as assigned. (5%)

Qualification and Skill Requirements:
Prior Experience:
This position requires:
- Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce or related majors or related work experience
- 2+ years' experience leading ecommerce marketing strategies,
- Ability to be data driven and use key metrics to test new ideas, fine tune placement and garner internal support
- Experience with SEM, Google AdWords, and Google Analytics
- Vendor management/relationship management experience
- Well organized with great time management skills and attention to detail. High motivational levels, ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong collaboration, high energy, communication skills, and experience succeeding in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
Knowledge Requirements:
- Strong foundation in ecommerce best practices and web technologies and standards
- Proficient knowledge of PPC advertising, including AMS (Amazon Marketing Services)
- Knowledge of search engine optimization and skilled at integrating high performance keywords into copy to support search engine marketing initiatives
- Deep knowledge of using web analytics and sales data to conduct analysis, draw conclusions, and drive solutions and action using multiple data sources
