Summary: Assists in coordinating Sales activities by performing them personally or through subordinates.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


- Helps to resolve conflicts and facilitates changes in structure of sales group to ensure objective fulfillment and swift response to

sales opportunities and problems.

- Works directly with sales representatives and customers on orders.

- Coaches and develops sales representatives' skills.

- Interviews, hires, and helps train inside and outside sales representatives.

- Appraises performance, rewards and disciplines employees.

- Fields questions and resolves issues from Territory Sales Managers, Inside Sales Representatives and customers.

- Travels to Trade Association meetings, trade shows, customer open houses, and visits with dealers as required.

- Works with Policy Deployment Budgeting.

- Works with internal employees on programs to increase sales

- Helps in planning and facilitating sales meetings

-Performs territory analysis and introduces strategies to grow sales

-Updates and maintains standard work within the sales department

-Establishes budgets and monitors sales expenses

-Adheres to J&N pricing structure to maintain profitability


This position will ideally be located in Cincinnati, but remote office is an option.


Supervisory Responsibilities: Directs and leads Territory Sales Managers and Inside Sales Representatives. Responsibilities include the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. This manager carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include taking part in the interviewing, hiring, and employee training processes; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, Order processing systems, Project Management software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.


Other Skills and Abilities: Must be willing to travel in excess of 50% of the time by ground or air.
