Responsible for supporting the management of the current Rotating Electrical product portfolio, development of a multi-year product roadmap, and development of new products to expand the product offering.



  • Implement and Follow Product Lifecycle Management best practices.
  • Manage the product line's financial performance.
  • Assist in the development, management and maintenance of all PM databases including ACES, PIES, and PIM (Agility).
  • Managing product categories via multi-faceted analysis of the product portfolio.
  • Assist and support the development of channel, product, and pricing strategies.
  • Work cross functionally with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and other departments throughout the organization.
  • Leverage VOC input in formulating product strategies.
  • Monitor competitor product offerings to maintain competitive industry position.
  • Develop New Products and Categories based upon VOC, industry trends, sales feedback, and knowledge of the rotating electrical product category.
  • Develop a business strategy for all product categories and NPD products working with sales and marketing.
  • Stay current with changing technology and government regulations that drive industry trends.
  • Work with Supply Chain and Sales to manage and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP system in order to setup new part numbers and run reports required to analyze new product sales and product performance.
  • Develop, Follow, and Maintain New Product Development processes and procedures.
  • Attend trade shows and/or conferences as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and/or demonstrated acquired appropriate level of experience.

8+ years of demonstrated product management and/or product development experience.

Working understanding of parts distribution business model.

New product development experience.

Strong customer service skills (internal and external)

International sourcing experience.

Exposure to a range of manufacturing processes is a plus.

Familiarity with ACES, PIES and PIM.

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Effective oral and written communication.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Capable of multi-tasking and shifting priorities in a fast pace dynamic environment.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Mechanical/technical aptitude.

Quality Oriented

Technical understanding of OPE, Power Sports, Marine Equipment and Automotive parts.

Working understanding of replacement parts market(s), including structure, players, competitors, and supply chain.
